The American in Me (2004) CD has 4 studio tracks, and 8 live tracks recorded at the Old Waldorf in 1979 (these live tracks were released on the Italian vinyl LP Zero Hour).
#Avengers paint it black plus
Plus 9 live recordings and a list of all Avengers shows.

And "Crazy Homicide", "I Want In" and "The End Of The World" were re-recorded for this album in 1999. The early version of "White Nigger" was demoed at Wally Heider Studios and is quite different from the one Steve Jones produced on the Avengers EP from 1979. The died for your sins (1999) CD on Lookout has 7 studio recordings: "Teenage Rebel", "Friends Of Mine", and "The Good The Bad And The Kowalskis" were from the Iguana rehearsal studio recordings. And finally, Cheap Tragedies, and Money were not on the original LP but on some subsequent versions. The one live song on the record is "Fuck You". It also has studio recordings of Open Your Eyes, No Martyr, Desperation, Thin White Line, Paint it Black, and Second to None. The "pink album" is what I call the self-titled LP/CD that came out on CD Presents Records (1983), has the same versions of "Car Crash" "I Believe in Me" and "We are the One" from the Dangerhouse EP (1977) and "White Nigger" and "Corpus Christi" from the White Noise EP(1979), but different mixes and vocals on "The American In Me" and "Uh-Oh". If you are unexperienced, I would honestly let the helmet be white, you can go with a light shadowing with a realy soft wash around some areas, but depands on you.įor the bush on the helmet (and the line cloth), I simply would paint it in black and give it a soft drybrush with a darker grey, same for the weapons but only on the edges there. Here's a little rundown of the three Avengers albums.Īll tracks recorded in 1977-1979 (except as noted)

Idk what paints you have, Contrast Paint gives you the advantage of priming and shading in one go, but you can also simply start with basecoating almost every mid tone blue for the armor and later use a blue or "softer" (simply give it some water so it isn't that intense of a shade in the end) black wash to get some easy shadows and details on the mini. Undercoat the gem with Stormhost Silver, them add the gem paint.įor beginners I would always recommend priming the minitures with white primer spray (don't has to be GW, Army Painter is my personal favorite), based upon models(colorations you will switch between different things later, but for Dire Avengers I recommend white.ĭire Avengers have blue armor, white helmets, black helm bushes and weapons (if you want to go with the canonical variant ofc), you can switch that up, but I think Blue Armor will do you a good favor and it looks good on Avengers imo. Again - a delicate process, but at least there is a dedicated paint range for gems. Two steps - paint them completely in color A, then add stripes of color B. Even if you paint them completely black, they will look decent.
#Avengers paint it black how to
Painting lenses is a delicate process, I don't really know how to ease it. I painted most of the helmet green with Caliban Green and the faceplate white. You can do them in one or two steps, depending how many paints you have. If you are new at painting, you can just leave it like that. This step is much easier, just dip your brush into the wash and spread it somewhat evenly, you'll see how it goes. Make sure to thin your paint with a bit of water! For this I usually use the inner side of the lid of the pot, which is heresy :D Next step is washing, for this you will need Drakenhof Nightshade. Any base blue color - Thousand Sons Blue, Kantor Blue, Caledor Sky etc. Preferrably blue, it's a main color, but black, grey or even white will do too. You'll need at least 3 colors to paint them - blue for armor, something for guns (I used black), and something for helmets (I used green because Biel Tan).
